LOCATION:   The Appalachian GENEA  is located about 15 minutes west of Asheville, NC off Monte Vista Road.              
  From I40, Exit 44 (the 19/23, Enka-Candler Interchange), proceed south 19/23 under the overpass (if coming from Asheville) and take first right onto Acton Circle just before  McDonald’s, and going behind them and Shoney’s to stop sign.
         Turn right onto Monte Vista Road, go approximately 1 miles, turn right onto Shady Lane.
           Right into circular drive of the second house.  Please drive all the way through to permit most parking availability for others.
