          Here is an example of the outline of courses given at the Appalachian GENEA

GENESA SYSTEMS WORKSHOP SERIES
Fall 2000 Western North Carolina

August-October, 2000
 

1. Orientation & Centering in Genesa crystals.

       a. color, orientation  and movements within crystal   (awareness from within vs.from without)
       b.  philosophy and Intro to Spiritual Dimensions

2.  Basic Genesa Systems

       a. number and alphabet systems ,   b.  geography, and  c. other basic systems

3.  Intermediate Charts & Crystal Practice

        a.  guided exploration of  personal interest
        b. creative applications, intuitive and interpersonal   development

4.  Advanced personal learnings, therapeutic & spiritual explorations

      - individual or separate group sessions on areas of individual research/study etc....

Notes:  In addition to practice there will be discussions, use of the Workshop Guide and files, videos,  and other materials on Genesa. 

          Individual consultations or practice sessions at the Appalachian GENEA may be scheduled by phone.  Practice is encouraged.

  INSTRUCTOR:   Kay Bruch, Ed.D. (UCLA), retired Professor of Educational Psychology(Gifted and Creative Education)  from University of Georgia.  She has taught workshops and graduate university courses on GENESA with Dr. Derald Langham and independently.  Kay has published  papers about Genesa, some  co-authored with Dr. Langham.  At Georgia, she coordinated a program in Expressive Therapies and Creative Education.   Kay is also a Holotropic Breathwork Practitioner.

     Special sub-groups who wish to practice in their particular disciplines may plan later events to build their own movement or systems elaborations.
